 Dr. June was born in Pontiac Michigan, and has lived throughout the state including Flint, Bay City, Lansing, Grand Rapids, and Oak Park, with a brief stint in Chicago, Lakeland Florida and Rome New York. Dr. June knew he was to be in medicine since the age of five, and single mindedly made that dream happen by attending MSU for undergrad, and the College of Osteopathic Medicine afterwards. It wasn't until his second year of medical school that he decided on Rheumatology, (or it decided on him.)  Dr. June trained at Henry Ford Hospital for his 3rd, and 4th years of medical school, and went on to do an internal medicine residency at Metro Hospital in Grand Rapids area.   Aside from medicine, he enjoys Triathlon training, biking, swimming, running, etc.

Dr. Al-Shwaf offers many years of knowledge and experience. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and has been practicing for over 18 years. Dr. Al-Shwaf has practiced in a number of countries and has been successful with helping people on a global scale. His past experience includes being a Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the International Medical Center. A fun fact about him is he is fluent in both English and Arabic. In his free time Dr. Al-Shwaf enjoys spending time with his family along with practicing his religion. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the Arthritis Foundation. 

Dr. Trinh grew up in the Lansing area and graduated from Waverly High School. She attended Michigan State University for her undergraduate studies, majoring in Physiology and minoring in Music. She continued her education at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and trained at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing for her clinical rotations. She went on to further her training to complete a family medicine residency program in DuBois, Pennsylvania. Her areas of focus include Rheumatology, Pediatrics, Bone Health, and Integrative and Preventative Medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine. 

Dr. Trinh enjoys music and art. During her time at MSU, she played piano for her music minor, played violin with the MSU orchestra, and attended master classes. She also enjoys running, reading, trying out new snack-worthy eateries, and every flavor of ice cream. 

Kevin is a Board Certified Physician Assistant, and who has been practicing for over 20 years. Mr. Duffy is a graduate of the Western Michigan University Physician Assistant Program, and holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Michigan State University. Mr. Duffy is Board Certified by the National Commission of Certification Physician Assistants, has 15 years of experience as a Clinical Preceptor for students in Physician Assistant Programs from Western Michigan, Central Michigan, and Grand Valley State University, he also has 9 years of experience as a P.A. Clinical Instructor for residents, interns, and medical students in Michigan State University’s Surgical Residency Program. Mr. Duffy enjoys Michigan’s outdoor recreational activities, traveling, biking, weight lifting and feeding his inner foodie by indulging in new local restaurants.

Timothy is a Board Certified Physician Assistant who joined our office in 2016. He received his Physician Assistant degree in 2012 from Wayne State University. His previous clinical experience includes 4 years of Gastroenterology at McLaren GI in Lansing, MI. He completed his undergraduate degree from Spring Arbor University in 1999. He worked in the private sector for several years before pursuing a career in the medical field. He enjoys various outdoor activities such as biking, traveling up north, and spending as much time as possible with his wife and two young boys. He also spends a great deal of time with his local church, playing in a worship band, and participating in community events in the Lansing area.

  Lauren Kaylor is a Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA) with over 7 years of experience in Rheumatology. She is a 2019 graduate of Kettering College's PA Program and has a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Eastern Michigan University. She has a passion for bone health and has obtained Clinical Densitometrist Certification through the International Society of Clinical Densitometry (ISCD). She is the Vice President of the Society of PAs in Rheumatology (SPAR) and was their chief delegate in the House of Delegates in 2021, 2025 and 2026. She is also a member of the American Academy of Physician Associates (AAPA) and Michigan Academy of Physician Associates (MAPA). She is currently a preceptor for multiple PA programs and enjoys teaching others about rheumatology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, reading, and traveling (especially to Disney).
